ASIC Launches Targeted Inquiries into Failed Firmus IPO
The corporate regulator is investigating the role of investment banks in the marketing of the now-withdrawn Firmus data centre float.

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has confirmed it is making targeted inquiries into the joint lead managers of the failed Firmus initial public offering. The inquiries involve JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and Morgans Financial. The data centre operator shelved its planned $5 billion ASX float earlier this month, with reports suggesting the company is now shifting its focus toward private fundraising and a potential future Nasdaq listing.
